ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The Delmar Loop is getting a new grocery store, a new 24-hour diner, and new loft apartments. Washington University has invested 80-million-dollars to build four new buildings to house its students. The lower levels of the retail/housing development will feature a grocery store and diner. The apartments called, The Lofts at Washington University are scheduled to open August 7, 2014, just in time for the start of the new fall season. The grocery store and diner are scheduled to open a few weeks after that. Three new stars are also being added to the Loop’s St. Louis Walk of Fame.
