In late May crews will start work on Delmar near Kingsland–near Cicero’s. When work is done, the track will be 2.2 miles long and the trolley will make 10 stops between the loop and the Missouri History Museum. The trolley line is funded by a 1-percent sales tax in the business district.

Trolley project officials are working with Great Rivers Greenway to extend walking and bike paths that run next to the trolley near Forest Park.

The trolley project should be completed in 2016 and service will start later that year. Total cost for the project–$43 million.
