The developers of Clayco Corp. Real Estate Solutions’ 14-story, $66 million Delmar Apartments in the Delmar Loop consider the Loop Trolley and nearby MetroLink light rail station great assets to their Transit-Oriented Design. Their goal for the project, currently under construction at 6105 Delmar Blvd., is to help build and be part of a walkable, accessible neighborhood. When completed in 2017, the building will have 209 apartments, garage parking and storefronts, as well as on-site car sharing and bike storage for at least 150 bicycles.
The Pageant’s managing partners Joe Edwards and Patrick Hagin are building a companion venue next door to the iconic concert landmark. Slated to open this fall, Delmar Hall will fill the gap in The Loop’s current concert offerings with a capacity of 800, between Blueberry Hill’s 340-person Duck Room to the 2,000 capacity of The Pageant – and will host a similarly wide range of music styles, comedy, events and private parties.
