On September 13, 2019, the Loop Trolley Company will debut its comedy series Laugh Tracks featuring local comedian Yale Hollander.
On the second Friday of each month, Yale Hollander and his featured comics will perform a 40 minute routine for the duration of the 2.2 mile route starting at the Pageant Trolley stop. Each show will begin at 9 p.m. This family-friendly standup comedy showcase features some of St. Louis’ most popular local comics.
“I believe the trolley provides great opportunities for local entertainers to showcase their talents in a fun and unconventional manner, and I’m grateful that the Trolley Company has chosen to partner with the St. Louis comedy community to provide a new local entertainment option,” said Hollander.
The first show will feature local comics Kenny Kinds, Sam Lyons, Angela Smith with guest sets from Travis Terrell and Ken Warner.
“St. Louis has some fantastic comedians, and we’re proud to showcase them with Laugh Tracks,” said Kevin Barbeau, Loop Trolley Company Executive Director. “Programs like this, that support local arts and enhance our riders’ experience, have always been part of our plan. And in the months to come, we’ll be adding live music showcases, historical speaker series and events for families.”
A regularly priced trolley ticket is necessary to board the trolley for the show. Standard two-hour passes are $2 and all-day passes are $5. Seniors, children and passengers with disabilities may purchase tickets for a reduced fare. Tickets may be purchased at ticket kiosks at each trolley stop or by downloading the app. For information on Laugh Tracks, visit LoopTrolley.com.
